Absolutely embarrassing audiobook production

So poorly recorded that it makes it unlistenable

It's repetitive, like sections are copied and pasted in again... I thought I must have gone back a chapter, but it was just repeating word for word.
The audio is recorded in different sections then new bits jammed in... at these points the volume changes, the voice sounds different and it's jarring.
I am sure the material is good. Have actually listened to it all but I tried for a 2nd time and thought, no way.
Unfortunately I have owned past the point of returning it.
