Historia
The purpose of studying the Old Testament is to understand God and his redemptive work more fully. However, this goal is complicated by the fact that it was transmitted through a very different language and culture from our own. A Survey of the Old Testament provides an indispensable guide for undergraduate students and other listeners by exploring the literary, historical, and theological issues behind the Old Testament and its various books.

Superb OT Survey
Revisado: 01-13-23
Fresh information, details are otherwise might not be included in another course. I teach all Testament in new Testament surveys at the University level. I would recommend this one highly.

Historia
Ninety-nine elite American soldiers are trapped in the middle of a hostile city. As night falls, they are surrounded by thousands of enemy gunmen. Their wounded are bleeding to death. Their ammunition and supplies are dwindling. This is the story of how they got there - and how they fought their way out. Black Hawk Down drops you into a crowded marketplace in the heart of Mogadishu, Somalia with the U.S. Special Forces and puts you in the middle of the most intense firelight American soldiers have fought since the Vietnam war.

Opinion of Black Hawk Down.
Revisado: 11-10-21
Personally, I very much enjoyed the first person accounts of earn him of the soldiers. I think the idea of writing it as a fiction novel was a great idea as I was very embedded in the book. It can get confusing at points, when moving from chalk to chalk talking about the individual activities of the people there. It also has a very non-biased approach to both sides, and talks about the good and bad from both sides. In all I think it’s a well rounded book and that everyone should listen to the very end.
