The methods contained within this book are so simple, so instantaneous, and so effective, it’s as if they work by magic. If you implement even one tactic in this book, you’ll see the change in your prospects' demeanor. And you’ll know the $100M Offers method worked when you start hearing, “What do I need to do to move forward?” before you even ask for the sale.

Revisado: 02-19-23
Really good & very helpful … I wanted, as a guy probably 3 times this guys age … yell out ‘language’ a few times & while the cussing didn’t help ‘ME’ … the information being presented made it extremely easy to listen & read around that … I’ll listen & read this a couple more times so as I begin to work this into my life & offers - I used several points in my sermon this morning … so, THANKS - steve

Historia
What can the call to discipleship, the adherence to the word of Jesus, mean today to the businessman, the soldier, the laborer, or the aristocrat? What did Jesus mean to say to us? What is his will for us today? Drawing on the Sermon on the Mount, Dietrich Bonhoeffer answers these timeless questions by providing a seminal reading of the dichotomy between "cheap grace" and "costly grace."

So great
Revisado: 11-24-22
So convicting - so good to read for about the 4th time / I’ve got so much room to grow - every glorious hill He leads me over draws me onward towards His beautiful horizon in which we shall be like Him / but this book continues to remind me that while we which are alive and remain hVe so much work to do - in our lives and in our world - God Be Praised - in the glorious name of Jesus

A great book that is HARD to listen to
Revisado: 10-19-22
The trouble is, I’ve heard of this book forever, but honestly did not know what it was about & having listen to the whole thing - I’m still pretty sure I don’t get it - I started listening to it while traveling, wasn’t getting it-so I bought the Kindle version so I can read while I listened and that helped some … I wanted to love it and perhaps someday I will be able to go back and read it’s more slowly

Historia
Jesus and the Book of Acts are the standard of normal Christianity. Remember the fad a few years ago when people wore bracelets reminding them, "What Would Jesus Do?" Christians state that Jesus is the example of how to live, yet this has been limited in many cases to how we view our moral character.

Stunningly Stirring and Spot ON.
Revisado: 04-07-18
What did you like best about this story?
Jonathan tells great stories that keep you hungry for more... couldn't put the book down - drawing me into a desire to see the church become what God truly intended it to be ... this book does a great job of motivating the reader to push for, believe for, and step out in faith for MORE...
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The last two chapters were amazing - but thats hardly fair because the whole book was ... I loved the stories of resurrection to the point of I can't stop talking about them & I'm wondering why no one has EVER asked me to pray for that - GOD FORGIVE ME... slr

God has promised us miracles. Are you willing to do what it takes to see them through? We all desire the favor of God on our lives. We eagerly pray and hope for his miracles, promises, and blessings. But carrying the promises of God often means being stretched, being inconvenienced, and being patient to nourish those promises until it is God's time for them to be born.

Historia
In Evicted, Princeton sociologist and MacArthur “Genius” Matthew Desmond follows eight families in Milwaukee as they each struggle to keep a roof over their heads. Hailed as “wrenching and revelatory” (The Nation), “vivid and unsettling” (New York Review of Books), Evicted transforms our understanding of poverty and economic exploitation while providing fresh ideas for solving one of twenty-first-century America’s most devastating problems. Its unforgettable scenes of hope and loss remind us of the centrality of home, without which nothing else is possible.

Fantastic, gripping, heart rending wake up call
Revisado: 04-02-17
If you could sum up Evicted in three words, what would they be?
A MUST READ
What did you like best about this story?
the raw display of real life in an American city
What about Dion Graham’s performance did you like?
Grahams vice really helped to pull me into the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A wake up call to the nation that will compel you to bring change to your community
Any additional comments?
I was stunned at the realness of the stories that were shared in this book. Just broke my heart in all the ways it probably needed to be broken. Really makes me want to do something to bring about some sort of change.
So easy to drive by or through a community and never really think about the lives that are lived so differently and with such struggle just down the street where others are living such an opposite life experience.
