The story is ponderous, fantastical and ridiculous exactly as I had hoped. This book is Lord of the Rings meets Peter Pan meets Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Do your future self a favor and read this book. Then write a terrible review like myself. That's how you earn internet points I'm told.

I found much of the research presented correlated with other published polyamorous books. Unique here was the emphasis on poly families, parenting, and children. A worthy read for anyone interested in pursuing polyamory while also maintaining a healthy family that includes children.

An honest look into human sexual/mating behavior.

The authors have a mostly scientific writing style with soft hints of spicy wit and satire. While digging deep into my own sexual nature I would occasionally burst out into unexpected laughter from their light hearted approach of this most controversial subject.
If you are an intelligent and reasoning primate struggling to conform your behavior to an impossible to follow socially imposed version of marriage, then this book is for you.
If you're casually interested in learning more about 'sex and stuff ' (hehehe 😉), then this book is for you.
The discussions my life partner and I have had as a result of this book have been difficult, fun, and productive. I feel as though we have the best chance of maintaining a healthy marriage with a greater understanding provided by this book, which doesn't use the filter of socially acceptable paradigms to deliver unfounded and unsupportable conclusions about the subject. My thanks to the authors for thier research and bravery.
Buy this book today. Don't wait for your relationship to be on the rocks in uncharted waters. This book is a map, not a path. Highly recommended.

If you're familiar with NLP then these tracks will be nothing new to you. "The mind and body are parts of the same system" - The New Technology of Achievement. The tracks will walk you through relaxation and visualization exercises designed to change your mental self image.
If you're looking to change your life you can skip this book. Go read some NLP instead.
About the use of the book: Being forced to listen to the tracks on my cell phone from the audible app is extremely annoying. There is no way to set up a loop of the track for the night. The listener is forced to listen to the whole 'book' over night or to wake up and turn off the app after the track is finished.
