More than a folktale
Revisado: 10-16-22
I really never knew how that chicken-legged house came to be and still don’t. However, now I can imagine many possibilities. I enjoyed the bit of magic and all the odd characters. Was fun to listen to and the reader especially good in this book w multiple personalities. The writing was poetic. Loved it.

Historia
A seemingly straightforward private case turns out to be much more complicated - and sinister - than Special Agent A. X. L. Pendergast ever could have anticipated. Pendergast, together with his ward, Constance Greene, travels to the quaint seaside village of Exmouth, Massachusetts, to investigate the theft of a priceless wine collection. But inside the wine cellar, they find something considerably more disturbing: a bricked-up niche that once held a crumbling skeleton.

Addictive Stories
Revisado: 09-04-12
Which character – as performed by Barbara Rosenblat – was your favorite?
the Main character as she is so strong willed.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Not your usual Mummy movie.
Any additional comments?
I like all her books and enjoy learning a bit about Egyptology. I am not really a fan of romance novels but clearly am adicted to this one. It is different as the characters are married and both are engaged in doing interesting work. I like that the main character is not your typical sweet Mother.

Rick Riordan’s first book in the Tres Navarre series, Big Red Tequila hit the mystery market like a Texas tornado. Readers couldn’t get enough of its hero’s offbeat combination of academic degrees, tai chi skills, and nose for danger. When the second adventure, Widower’s TwoStep, was published, it quickly earned an Edgar Award.

Not on the edge but definetly wanted to know what the heck was going to happen next!
Which character – as performed by Tom Stechschulte – was your favorite?
They were all good. Male and female which can be hard to do!
Any additional comments?
I love all the bizarre characters and how they all fit together. The tai-chi master twist is fun too.
