Camouflaged disinformation

I smelled a rat, when this title appeared in my library, without purchasing. A large percentage of book was very informative and beautifully narrated, referencing published works and studies, with longwinded attention to accuracy and inclusion. Only to arrive at the final 90 minutes, to discover that all of that academic integrity posturing was to establish the author's credibility, to shed light on the fictitious climate crisis. Apart from an irrelevant 1950's study, no reference to any academic work, and even using "the general consensus" phrase, akin to "most scientists agree" often used by climate change fearmongers, reference to temperature fluctuations, rising sea levels, and the (aimed at the generally uninformed masses) situation in the arctic regions, none of which has ever been proven. Maybe the author was enticed with reward and he succumbed, because the bulk of the book would an unlikely best seller, but with enough sponsorship and pressure it could.

Terribly inaccurate.

I should have smelled a rat, when the book opens with endemnity. After reading the first 2 chapters I was so annoyed with references to ancient establishment of currency, which a reader interested in central banking would obviously have prior knowledge of. Reserve banking is referred to as aan established concept without reference to it's secretive origin and deceptive nature. A very naive narrative, reeking of propaganda and misinformation. If you know nothing about central banking, this is not where you should start.

This work is hugely informative and clearly well researched, structured and presented. I selfishly found it necessary to deduct a star from an otherwise flawless presentation. The reason being the long tedious discussions on mathematical probability, which contributes only marginally to the overall argument. Dr Dawkins still remains, in my humble opinion, the ultimate authority on the topic of evolutionary biology. I stand corrected.

Impressively researched, eloquently delivered and thought provokingly contextualised. A brave demonstration of freedom of expression and even braver attack on censorship. If atheists had an order of beatification, the author should be remembered as St Hitch.

The genius of Huxley is evident in his brilliant telling of a then fictional society story, which encapsulates humankind's interrogation of morality, the establishment of a new morality with all it's shortcomings and solutions to each of these. The narration is of the highest caliber.
