Excellent historical and technical overview
Revisado: 03-29-20
Great book, covers all in a understandable but also very technical way. Will interest those who understand the technical details and those who don't.

Suspenseful crime story
Revisado: 08-12-19
A great crime novel. Set in the 80's, the writing put me right into the time and situations, I wanted to yell out and tell the characters to watch out, I felt like I was there on the gritty streets of NYC. The suspense was great, the build up of the characters was perfect, making me care about what happened to them. This is not anything like what I usually listen to but I am looking forward to more books like this from Roger Angle.

Another excellent book in this amazing series
Revisado: 08-12-19
Another excellent book in this great suspenseful, mystery, adventure series. Bringing in real historical events into fictional events. Just like the previous book it starts off with an historical mystery, then switches to the present day to solve the mystery. This book could have spent more time of the story focusing on the protagonists, maybe focusing a few more chapters on why he believed what he did. Sam Reilly continues to be indestructible and a womanizer, like a mix between Indiana Jones and James Bond, making this a fun book series. The writing is very descriptive, brings in real products and items and locations into the story. This book doesn't require you listen to the previous books in the series to enjoy it. Narration continues to be great, voices are very distinguishable and is very engaging.

The offer - $20 billion split between four leading scientists on alternative energies to purchase and then squash their research lines, which include the recent discovery of a powerful new energy source capable of replacing mankind’s reliance on fossil fuels. There’s no doubt their discovery is worth 10 times that much. But will any one of them live if they refuse? At the same time, the greatest technological advancement in warfare since the creation of the atomic bomb has been discovered and is being offered to the highest bidder.

Another excellent book in this great suspenseful, mystery, adventure series. Bringing in real historical events into fictional events. Just like the previous book it starts off with an historical mystery, then switches to the present day to solve the mystery. This book brought in some fun ocean sailing and science with waves physics. The main character Sam Reilly continues to be the typical hero type, indestructible and has amazing luck, but that is what makes these types of books fun. The writing is very descriptive. This book doesn't require you listen to the previous books in the series to enjoy it. Narration continues to be great, voices are very distinguishable and is very engaging.

Great adventure/action/mystery,spread little thin
Revisado: 08-12-19
Another book in this great suspenseful, mystery, adventure series. This book was missing something, it felt like the story was too spread out across the world with too many different things and people involved. It did introduce us to more information on the "builders" though so is still worth a listen. It didn't hold my attention as much as the first two books. This book doesn't require you listen to the previous books in the series to enjoy it. Narration continues to be great, voices are very distinguishable and is very engaging.

On the 18th of February, 1812, the Emily Rose became shipwrecked on the southern coast of Australia. The survivors are forced to walk nearly 1,000 miles through the unexplored land to reach the only settlement, Sydney Cove. Nearly 200 miles inland, they come across the remains of a monstrous ship, far bigger than anything the British Navy had ever constructed. Through basic communication achieved with the natives, they learned that the ship had been there for a very long time...Maybe 1,000 years?

Beginning of an Suspenseful Action Series
Revisado: 08-12-19
First book in an suspense action series. Bringing in real historical events into fictional events or so we think. I enjoyed how the book starts off with an historical mystery, then switches to the present day to solve the mystery. The main characters are typical hero type, indestructible and amazing luck, but that is what makes these types of books fun. This is the first book in the series, but of the books I have listened to so far none of them require the previous to enjoy the current, however some character background will be missed. Narration is great, voices are very distinguishable and is very engaging.

Historia
In 1954, the United States was attacked by beings called Eban from another world. President Eisenhower was coerced into signing a treaty after we lost over 200 pilots in this initial strike. The government has managed to keep this treaty secret since and they became known as the "Greys." Part of the treaty forced the use of land for two alien bases. One is commonly called Area 51, and the other is somewhere in New Mexico. In the years to follow, animal mutilations, abductions, and UFO sightings became part of urban folklore.

Entertaining feel good SciFi
Revisado: 03-15-19
This wasn't a bad scfi story, but felt very canned, group of unlikely high school students saves the universe. But still was fun to listen to, the narration could have used a little more energy in some places and less then others, but I would still recommend this book for younger listeners.

In a remarkable turn of events, a young man with a lot definitely not going for him manages to come to terms with a startling reality. He has to grow up. Being handicapped by having rather nasty acne and an odd eye impediment, he also has to suffer the fact that his name is February. Or, at best, Feb to his very limited number of friends.

Historia
Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables. My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit". Flash forward five years and between tenses. President West is in office. Power has shifted. And Space Force is defunded. With just a handful of us still living on base, we find ourselves being evicted. But before all of us can leave, aliens invade.

Hilarious parody?
Revisado: 03-15-19
Amazing book making fun of the idea of a Space force, government mismanagement, mixing video games and lots of dark spy comedy into the mix. I hope more books come out based on the Space Force. I would recommend this book, and would have bought this book on my own.
