Molly is so talented at sharing what’s going on astrologically in an engaging way. The time flies by and I’ve learned a lot

Loved this. I have read countless books on related subjects and this one was really fabulous. It keeps things lighthearted and it also gives you practical advice. I’m sure I’ll listen again. Thanks Patricia!

Short, but even more helpful than I was hoping for. Liked that it had a scientific perspective to balance the "advocates." Good stuff!

What did you love best about Yes Please?

It was funny, heartfelt, and real. It wasn't punchline after punchline (I didn't laugh out loud quite as much as I did with Bossypants), but it was a revealing look into Ms. Poehler's life and thoughts. It was beautifully written and I was moved many times.

What other book might you compare Yes Please to and why?

Similar to Kathy Griffin's bio in it's realness and focus on what's important in life.

Which scene was your favorite?

Can't say...it was all great

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! And I have many times over. I am an experienced health coach and this (audio)book was the impetus that caused me to do a LOT of research and change my views on nutrition. As someone who prided herself on her nutritional knowledge it was a pretty earth shattering experience.

Any additional comments?

This book does a great job of dispelling huge myths in the area of nutrition that can have dire consequences. If you have any interest in increasing insulin sensitivity, reducing BS, losing weight, and/or lowering tryglicerides and BP then read/listen to this book. NOT because everyone should eat a low carb diet (although it's extremely beneficial to many), but because it helps differentiate between good and faulty science. Read/listen to the book and do some research. Come to your own conclusions. At the very least it offers a new perspective to consider. At the most (for people like me) it will provide you with the tools to achieve optimal health and the relief of knowing you are doing all you can to prevent disease. Side note: I agree with other reviewers that mispronouncing causal as casual and other such errors are very distracting and possibly quite confusing to some. Otherwise the book had me hooked from start to finish.
