This book was soo dumb.! The entire sample & reviews online was SOOO MISLEADING.!!! The book is about her failed marriage, SHE REALIZES SHE IS NOW A LESBIAN, THEN HAS WHITE GUILT AND JOINS BLM.. BOOK WAS said to ~ be “soo profound & Scramble ur brain.” NOOO.! Not a self help book..! Not worth the read.! I feel sorry that she is so ignorant ~ that she really thinks she is helping black ppl in American. THIS GROUP IS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING OTHER BLACK PPL ~ IF YOU DONT THINK IDENTICAL TO THEM.!!! Which is Literally the definition of FACISM..!!! I was so excited to read it.! But now i wish i would of never purchased or read it. Its suppose to be a self help book but ~ THE ONLY PERSON ITS HELPING IS HER ~ VENTING ABOUT REALIZING 50yrs into life she is A LESBIAN MOM.!. Me & my black gf got jumped by 4 WHITE blm memebers at a trump rally last month.! Peaceful protest and then blm showed up & started attacking everyone.! I WILL NEVER SUPPORT ANYONE INVOLVED IN THESE HORRIBLE GROUPS LIKE BLM OR ANTIFA..!! NOT WORTH READING & I READ IT TO THE END.!!! I will SADLY NEVER SUPPORT HER...! This is the very first negative review ive ever left on any book.!
If your a newly discovered lesbian mom dealing with a divorce and into helping roiting groups ~ THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOU.!!!! WE DEFINITELY NEED TO HAVE A REAL GROUP THAT Actually HELPS BLACK YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG GIRLS.! IF BLM CARED THEY WOULD BE GOING INTO DEEP CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND TEACHING THE KIDS..! Really Great book & the narrator did a phenomenal job

This book has been on my list to read for years. Its a fabulous book & the narrator did such a Wonderful job. I wish the book didn’t end though & think the ending could of been better.. But over all ~ it was even better then I anticipated. I can totally see why this book is being turned into a movie. Super impressed that a biological women could write such vivid details of being transgender. Fabulous lgbtq+ book..!
