Highly recommended. I will probably listen to it over and over again. I read the first one and this one has some of the same stories, but definitely a stand alone book.

Good story, beautifully performed.

This is a fine sequel. The characters are interesting and fully developed. There is action along with tender moments, There is no way to describe how much Edoardo Ballerini’s outstanding narration added to the experience. A masterful performance as usual.

Nice story

The story itself was compelling enough to keep me listening through the awful narration. Every sentence was overly dramatized, and the sequences that were actually dramatic were read with almost comical hype. It makes me wonder if authors have any say in the way their content is presented. I might look for other M. Quirk titles though, because I kept listening even though it was unlistenable. To the narrators: we know it is a hard job, but really, just read the book.

Definitely worth a listen.

The book was well written, interesting, and entertaining. The narration performance was quite good, and sometimes that is the most important part of an Audible book. Recommended. Just click it in if you need a new Audible book. Totally listenable.
