A Nice Way to Remember Sherlock Holmes

Very high
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Slight Trick of the Mind?
Too many to mention
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have been reading Sherlock Homes stories since I was a teenager - over 50 years ago. I still enjoy re-reading these tales. It was a nice change to read about Sherlock in his old age, still the spritely individual I have enjoyed forever.

Historia
When the cousin of Los Angeles underworld figure Hugo Poole is found shot to death in his Portland, Oregon, home, police find nothing at the scene of the crime except several long strands of blonde hair hinting that a second victim may have been involved. Hotel security tapes from the victim's last vacation reveal an out-of-focus picture of a young blond woman entering and leaving his room. Could she also be a murder victim?

Really Enjoying

Would you consider the audio edition of Nightlife to be better than the print version?
This is a good, suspense filled listen. I am enjoying everything about the book - the reader, the story itself and the characters. At first, I thought there were going to be too many characters to keep track of, but the author ties them together nicely. This is one of those books you don't want to finish, but can't wait to finish, if you know what I mean?
