Interesting time travel tale.

The story has a lot of back story that they don’t tell, but it’s alluded to. It maybe part of the whole series that will make sense, but the lack of explaining made for a hard read.

Secondly, there are different characters with the same name at different timelines. Trying to figure out when you were took a few moments.

Overall, it’s a good story, making me want to listen to the whole series to see if it’s a closed loop.

This tale has Owen Z Pitt get ready to take the fight to the bad guys. He has to use all he has learned up to this point. The unexpected emotion spread throughout lifts this kick-ass tale into one that should be remembered for the ages. If you haven’t read a single a monster Book, go and read all of them to get to this one.

Two plots intertwined.(spoilers)

The bobiverse gets one book bigger with the search for Bender.
Ray Porter is fantastic as “The Bobs”.
It is an mostly an enjoyable listen. I thought it could have focused only on the Quin or the Civil War, mixing the two kinda “meh’d” me.
The topic of the civil war was fantastic, but it played out rather passive aggressively, when we seen The Bobs take a much more involved approach. Could it be replicant drift? There was heavy not-talking-about who rules the bobiverse and what rules they have. The main plot of finding bender seemed to detract from the much more interesting civil war.

But! Great references to Skippy The Magnificent throughout. Great Easter eggs!

Fantastic

This is the end of the Ghost saga. It is a fantastic listen and it goes pretty quick. Provides a fantastic closure to the story of the Morrowiaca, however that is spelled.

A lot going on

Over all, a great story. They really tried to make it a fully encapsulating experience. Too many moments of sound providing the action, really great for The Shadow in 1920. Many other audiobooks don’t rely on this to convey their stories. And a good story it was, would make for a fantastic TV or Movie drama.

My love of Star Trek and Sci-Fi met its match. I could listen to the cast read a phone book and math text books, but this story was painful. A loose confederation of stories without a central hub that gets lost. The stories seemed to be edited to fit into the universe instead of created for it.

The first story is a keystone in this world. It’s plot gets lost in the excessive and unnecessary detail. The idea of the book is great, with various authors writing the same world, but misses the mark.

With so many authors tertiary to write a cohesive story, it is difficult to get a full and complete story. The attempts to intertwine a complicated story is something comic books have failed at via ret conning and METAtropolis has similar problems. It seems the various writers didn’t want to write a science fiction, but changed their story enough to fit into a slot.

Superb Customer Service

This short and quick listen is chock full of hilarity. Adam Baldwin reading and pace is fantastic. Not taking himself seriously, Larry Correia writes himself into the book as two different versions of himself. Quick listen, lots of laughs.
