Is conversational German turning a little too tricky for you? Do you have no idea how to order a meal or book a room at a hotel? If your answer to any of the previous questions was yes, then this book is for you! If there’s even been something tougher than learning the grammar rules of a new language, it’s finding the way to speak with other people in that tongue. Any student knows this - we can try our best at practicing, but you always want to avoid making embarrassing mistakes or not getting your message through correctly.

Nice

Accent is everything in language. It is the difference between getting the respect of a native, and being laughed at for "murdering the language". This book is great for improving the German accent. The narration is conversational; however, for effective learning, one might play it at a reduced speed. This ensures every part of word pronunciation is captured, and the accompanying Pdf can also be used for reference.

Historia
There is little more terrifying than those who hunt, stalk, and snatch their prey under the cloak of darkness. These hunters search not for animals, but for the touch, taste, and empowerment of human flesh. They are cannibals, vampires, and monsters, and they walk among us. These serial killers are not mythical beasts with horns and shaggy hair. They are people living among society, going about their day-to-day activities until nightfall. They are the Dennis Rader's, the fathers, husbands, church-going members of the community.

A look-up of 1000+ serial killers
Revisado: 10-14-19
This book is cool and very informative. As expected from an encyclopedia-type book, it covers just enough details on each subject to get the listener slightly familiar. The plan here is not to fully delve into all the details (else the book will be seriously long, and perhaps boring), but to serve as a sort of database for the subject matter. I think this is especially cool for aspiring true crime fans, or those that are just doing research. They get the basic details without some of the real gore.
Depending on your need, this book could be the difference between sitting through a Google session on serial killers and quickly finding the right information. Also, the subjects are introduced in a serial/alphabetical order; I think this is meant to speed up indexing.
I received this audio book for free, I have decided to leave this review as a guide for potential users on what to expect.

Learning through stories.
Revisado: 09-28-19
I love the concept behind this book. Learning through stories gives a conceptual understanding of the learnt vocabulary. Not only is the meaning interpreted, but the salient point of usage is emphasized. Also, the narrator really did a good job.

A great way to boost self-confidence.
Revisado: 08-22-19
Listening to this audiobook daily is a great way to really boost confidence. The affirmations make you feel like you can achieve anything, and this is very helpful for doing the numerous set of tasks that accompanies the day. The need for positive affirmations is quite lost on many people, and that is why they end up wallowing in self pity. I think the narration of this book makes it even more effective. It is very relaxing and re-assuring, which makes the listener to feel more in tune with the message that is being conveyed. A great package, and an excellent help.
I received a free copy of this book from the author, and I am glad for it. This review is purely based on my own opinion about the book and what it offers; nothing more.

Historia
From the summer of 1979 through the spring of 1981, Atlanta, Georgia, was held under siege by a serial killer, and dozens of victims started to appear. The series of murders, which became known as the “Atlanta Child Murders case”, gripped the city of Atlanta with fear and shocked the nation because most of the victims were children. In this true-crime audiobook, you will hear about how the Atlanta Child Murders case put a city under siege and how a task force of law-enforcement officers from several different agencies eventually captured the killer.

Interesting book.
Revisado: 03-10-19
This book gives a great recap of the 1979-1981 murders in Atlanta. The story of Wayne Williams and the efficiency of the law enforcement agencies: despite the limitations in technology at the time. Excellent narration too.
