Historia
With her morning sickness finally abated, Skye Denison-Boyd is ready to pounce on the pertinent problems she faces as Scumble River Elementary School's psychologist. After trying almost every trick in the book to aid a handful of socially awkward fourth grade boys, Skye opts for the innovative approach of pet therapy with the assistance of the local vet, a Siberian husky, and a Maine coon cat. Unfortunately, the first session only breeds disaster and draws the ire of cantankerous school board member Palmer Lynch.

The books have been getting worse

This new narrator made Mac sound like he had throat surgery. It was really hard to listen to. Won’t be buying any more of her books.

Historia
Welcome to Hemlock Cove, where the town is magically rebranded - but real witches aren't necessarily welcome. That makes things hard for the Winchester witches - including local newspaper reporter Bay. She's got a persnickety family - wait until you met Aunt Tillie - and a penchant for stumbling across trouble.

Really liked these until…
Revisado: 08-10-23
I was really enjoying the series til book 8. She changed narrators and the new one is awful. She talks like a baby makes Thistle sound like a man I will not be able to listen to any more with the new narrator. Too bad. I really enjoyed the first 7.

Historia
Seth Hubbard is a wealthy man dying of lung cancer. He trusts no one. Before he hangs himself from a sycamore tree, Hubbard leaves a new, handwritten, will. It is an act that drags his adult children, his Black maid, and Jake into a conflict as riveting and dramatic as the murder trial that made Brigance one of Ford County's most notorious citizens, just three years earlier. The second will raises far more questions than it answers. Why would Hubbard leave nearly all of his fortune to his maid? Had chemotherapy and painkillers affected his ability to think clearly?

Grisham revisits many pasts
Revisado: 03-17-18
I was a bit disappointed in that I figured out where the story was going early on. That said, it was still very enjoyable to hear the story unfold. I loved the voice actor and I feel that the story kept you interested in all the characters all the way through to the end. I might have preferred a few more twists, but all in all I enjoyed this story very much!
