My favorite go to author to put a smile on my face

This book like all the Mercy Thompson books put a smile on my face. It was full of my favorite characters and the crazy twisted creatures that exist in Patricia Briggs’ Mercyverse. These books are worth reading in order simply because they are delightful.

Book 3 Good but Lacking

Book 3 made me sad and confused. It was lacking from beginning to end. The fracture in Sabina and Adam’s relationship due to her “affair” with Slade made no sense to me. How can Adam be upset with her for sleeping with someone else before their relationship ever began?!? Then Slade just disappears in this novel after sleeping with Alexis. The sad part is Mazy who is vilified throughout the entire novel from beginning to end. I wanted to see the twins fight together and that opportunity never emerged leaving their story line unfilled.
