As always Santana zigs when you expect them to zag. This book took my breath away when I read it the first time, but in audio the ending made me sob. Incredible VA, incredible prose, what a journey.

Such a wild ride

The Legendborn cycle is absolutely amazing, intense, and I cannot wait for book 3 to come out. The blend of Arthurian legend and southern American folklore is genius and the intensity keeps ramping up. Bring on Oathbound!

I laughed, I cheered, I said ohhhhh my. Chaotic and sexy as all things Bahrd are - this was a romping good time. Eden is just .. chaos personified and her sisters are a whirlwind of wild. Love them all to pieces.

Magic and myth

Bree and Nick and Sel are teenagers at UNC in the early college program and are also involved in a magical secret society. Theres love and hate and myth and magic and southern history blended together for a story that is unique and beautiful and heart breaking. Wonderful voice acting, fantastic story telling.

Loved this ending to the series. Voice acting made a perfect pairing to these characters and really brought to life the push and pull between the spiritual and the secular in this story. Loved this series, loved this love story.

Hilarious, Twisted, and Sweet

I know that when reading/listening to a Brynne Weaver novel I am going to laugh, possibly cry, get hot under the collar, and have a good time. That is exactly what we get here. Rose and Fionn are just perfection. A perfect match. Their story is the perfect end of this trilogy and I was so ready to know what their deal was after the brief interactions in B&B and L&L. The voice acting was on point as always and I may never look at cotton Candy the same way again. Another home run by Weaver.

Finnish lore and sapphic love? Sign me up? This was beautifully written and the VA was incredible. Perfect listening for cold dreary days. Certainly got a bit heated at times and spiced up the yucky rainy days!
