My big question is why was the very fist chapter never explained? it's like it belonged to a different book. He never went back to it. Other than that it was a pretty good book, kept me wondering. Presentation was good.

Feel like I wasted the credit

I was really into the story at first but it just totally went flat for me after a few chapters. I made myself finish it since I used a credit on it. Also, The voice the narrator did for Cassie really took away from the story. Instead of an attractive young woman, all I envisioned was Norman Bate's mother.

absolutely, best narrator I have encountered so far. Handled accents wonderfully.
Any additional comments?
I loved the imagery and the characters but felt there just wasn't much of a horror story there. I felt like there really could have been so much more. I was disappointed. Toward the end I just wanted to be done with it so I could start a different book.

I liked the concept and unique premise but it got stale for me toward the middle. Didn't hold me like most books do. Seemed there was grossness just for grossness same it didn't really add to the creepiness or story.

Depending on the book. His woman and teen voices where high pitched and sometimes very irritating.

I was really into this book. It has such an original plot with a modernism that makes it feel so real. I couldn't wait to listen again and found myself actually feeling creeped out at times which is tough for a book to do for me. Till the last 3 chapters I really felt it was the best book I had ever read. Then the ending was a strange and contradictory happening. It made no sense in regards to the entire rest of the book.It didn't feel like it was even written by someone who had read the book up to that point.
