I loved this book!!!! Happy to of found this Chingona author – Mexicana – Sofia Segovia. It’s beautiful. Reminiscent of the magical realism of Marquez, set in Mexico during the revolution, amidst the Spanish Flu (timing right?). I fell into the depths of this story, of each character, of the intricate threads of family, legacy, land, loyalty, loss, and resilience.
¡Me encantó este libro! - El murmullo de las abejas - Feliz de haber encontrado esta autora Chingona - Mexicana - Sofía Segovia. Esta bella la novela. Con toques del realismo mágico; bajo el contexto de un México en revolución, el la epidemia de la influenza, caí en las profundidades de esta historia, de cada personaje, de los lemas de familia, legado, tierra, lealtad, pérdida y resistencia.
