Historia
A war is being waged against us by radical Islamists, and, as current events demonstrate, they are only getting stronger. Al-Qaeda has morphed into a much more dangerous, menacing threat: ISIS. Lt. General Michael T. Flynn is blunt and urgent. This book aims to inform the American people of the grave danger we face in the war on terror—and will continue to face—until our government takes decisive action against the terrorists that want nothing more than to destroy us and our way of life.

Historia
For tens of millions of Americans, Tucker Carlson was long the only voice on cable news providing a counternarrative to establishment Washington and the mainstream press on the most important issues of our time: the Covid-19 vaccine, January 6, the Ukraine war, and even UFOs, just to name a few.

Historia
If you don’t understand communist revolutions, you aren’t ready for what’s coming. The old rules are over. The old order is over. Accusations are evidence. Activism means bigotry and hate. Criminals are allowed to roam free. Citizens are locked up. An appetite for vengeance is unleashed—to deplatform, debank, destroy. This is the daily news, yet none of it’s new. Patterns from the past make sense of our present. They also foretell a terrifying future we might be condemned to endure.

Very insightful and historically accurate
Revisado: 09-09-24
This is a field I have been exposed to for over 35 years. I have seen the killing Field’s and visited some of the countries affected by communism. This book provides a fairly succinct review of a very large body of knowledge. It is incredible how well the content is packaged given the complexity and volume of the topic and all instances of a communist takeover.
This book is very good In extracting and showing the overall patterns. A define must read for everyone.

Historia
In our "wireless" world it is easy to take the importance of the undersea cable systems for granted, but the stakes of their successful operation are huge, as they are responsible for carrying almost all transoceanic Internet traffic. In The Undersea Network, Nicole Starosielski follows these cables from the ocean depths to their landing zones on the sandy beaches of the South Pacific, bringing them to the surface of media scholarship and making visible the materiality of the wired network.

Fairly low level of factually. A lot of emotions
Revisado: 05-20-24
I was captivated by the title of this book and probably had too high of expectations, so I was very disappointed. The book is not well researched and the statements offered in It are not well substantiated by engineering data. Most of the information is assessed through the lenses of equality for people, completely disregarding the fact that equality works differently for technology. For example, it is irrelevant for a human if a landing station is 30-40 miles from a major population point because the signal travels under 2ms so people do really care. Even more, for technology this means cheaper service which ultimately helps the people and offers lower price.
Overall, activism has blinded the author to the pint she is unable to see how she is arguing against the pints she is trying to promote.

Historia
A sinister cabal of corrupt law enforcement personnel, intelligence agents, and military officials at the highest levels of government plotted to overthrow a president. Even after they failed, they continue to secretly pull the levers of power without any accountability to the American people. This isn’t the synopsis of a fictional spy thriller. This is what is actually happening in the United States government.

Historia
A sobering and fascinating study on war in the modern era, Unrestricted Warfare carefully explores strategies that militarily and politically disadvantaged nations might take in order to successfully attack a geopolitical super-power like the United States. American military doctrine is typically led by technology; a new class of weapon or vehicle is developed, which allows or encourages an adjustment in strategy. Military strategists Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui argue that this dynamic is a crucial weakness in the American military.

This a very high content, no pulp book, so definitely very good investment of time. once you read it you will understand why awareness is important so you are not used as a pawn. after you read it you will understand how even a one voice makes a ripple. It's important for our kids.

Historia
For three nerve-wracking years, Naveed Jamali spied on America for the Russians, trading thumb drives of sensitive technical data for envelopes of cash, selling out his own beloved country across noisy restaurant tables and in quiet parking lots. Or so the Russians believed. In fact this young American civilian was a covert double agent working with the FBI. The Cold War wasn't really over. It had just gone high tech.

Interesting story but very, very diluted. I suggest listening at 1.5-2.0 speed.
There is a lot of dramatization of things that do not add to the story.
