Historia
The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Doomed. Including the Merry Band of Pirates.

Revisado: 12-09-22
An epic conclusion to the Merry Band of Pirates. While some will say the ending wasn't good, I disagree, it was fantastic.
I would say that this is in my top 3 of ExForce books. Give it a go, let the story take you.

Hopper, Chaney, & Bray; No better Trio
Revisado: 11-01-21
Holy Splick, this is a fun ride. I know that people that want to jump into a series, will tend to look at reviews of books farther down the line to see if the series holds up. Well Mystics, it does.
Hopper and Chaney have created an interesting world here. I love the mixture and variety of characters that make up the core group. The action is fast-paced but easy to follow.
Also, Lord Bray is the grand champion of book narriation.

Revisado: 11-01-21
Well holy crap, Maberry and Porter do it again.
I have to say that I think Jonathan is my favorite author, hands down. His ability to layer so much detail into a small amount of space is amazing. Taking his ability to create these characters, and Ray's ability to give them life through his voice, it's a tag team that rivals Hogan and Macho Man.
Bottom line, if you're looking for a good short story, you found it here. Give it a listen, you will not be disappointed.
(Jonathan, please.....can we somehow intergrade this story into RTI? That would be freaking legit!)

Anspach and Cole still bring the KTF in the next season of Galaxy's Edge.
This series is still going strong and I'm so happy. The story is going in a fun and crazy (good crazy) way. So excited on seeing where it goes next.

Mayberry Keeps The Action And Heart Alive in RTI
Revisado: 10-14-21
Dang, well. Just dang. This was awesome.
Jonathan Maberry is one of my favorite authors. His ability to write internal dialogue, action, and the way he frames his scenes are just....amazing to me.
Relentless brings the same level of energy that Maberry brought with the DMS and the previous RTI novel. The action is dynamic, fun, gruesome, and something I don't get from other books.
I do have to say that I'm a huge Ray Porter stan. I swear, I love how much life and emotion Ray brings to his preformances. It would be so easy to have a man like Joe Ledger come off as a big, tough, gruff dude. But with how Maberry writes Joe and how Ray brings him to life....dang its perfection.
If you're a fan of Joe Ledger, don't miss this book. And if you've never heard of him before, go to the start (Patient Zero) and join on in.

Hey There Citizen
Revisado: 10-14-21
So, I'm familiar with Jason through his work on the Galaxy's Edge series and Chaney through his collaborations with other authors.
This is a good solid sequel to the first book. While it didn't do anything bigger or better, in my opinion, I don't feel sequels need to do that. If its predecessor were already solid, to begin with, the sequel just needs to keep that same level of energy, and I can say that WG2 does just that.

Fox & Daniels keep the flame of the Ember Wars lit
Revisado: 10-14-21
So, before you dive into this, be sure to have completed The Ember Wars Saga, Terran Armor Corps, Terran Strike Marines, and The Terra Nova Chronicles. It will help make the stories (there are two books in this volume) easier to follow.
Again, I'm impressed with how Richard Fox keeps on growing and expanding the universe he's created. The stakes are pretty freaking high, the tension is real, and the comedy is present but does not overstay its welcome, and the action is fast-paced while still being clear and easy to follow.
If you are a fan of the series, jump in to the next grand adventure!

Revisado: 02-04-21
So I dove into this one because Bruno and Bray are both in the sphere of books I like. While this was out of my wheelhouse (crime/mystery vs Sci-Fi) I decided to give it a shot considering the talent involved. And dang, it did not disappoint!
Roach is a character you can get behind. The story is well-paced, with no dead space. I enjoyed listening to this book, Bray is a legend. Bruno did a great job in creating a setting that is believable and characters we can invest in.

So I've been listening to this series for a year or so now and I love it. The cast of Star Layers is fantastic. Each one of the crew/firm plays a key function in the story and offer their own spice to the story.
Scott does a great job at bringing this eclectic group of lawyers, mercs, hookers, and pirates to life.

So, at first, I had to admit this felt a little too much like Galaxy's Edge. But the more I gave it time to breathe and become its own thing, the more I became attached to it. Hopper and Chaney do a fantastic job here, I'm freaking loving the story and the characters.
There is loads of action here, lore to discover, and character development for days.
