Historia
For many of us, race will continue to shape where we live, pray, go to school, and socialize. We cannot simply wish away the existence of race or racism, but we can take steps to lessen the ways in which the categories trap and confine us. Educators, who should be committed to helping young people realize their intellectual potential as they make their way toward adulthood, have a responsibility to help them find ways to expand identities related to race, so that they can experience the fullest possibility of all that they may become.

Beautiful book on the failing education system effects on the black and brown populations they serve. Very detail and accurate I am a former educator and the information presented in this book are spot on. The education system is created for the adults more than meeting the learning needs of children. Thank you for this amazing contribution to the education cause.

Historia
Philosophy professor Christina Sommers has exposed a disturbing development: how a group of zealots, claiming to speak for all women, are promoting a dangerous new agenda that threatens our most cherished ideals and sets women against men in all spheres of life. In case after case, Sommers shows how these extremists have propped up their arguments with highly questionable but well-funded research, presenting inflammatory and often inaccurate information and stifling any semblance of free and open scrutiny.

Brilliant work and accurate still today 2020s
Revisado: 01-26-21
Incredible book, the author does a great job explaining how we arrived at cancel culture through misinformation skewed data. Women have reshaped societal norms and found a way to silence men and make them feel irrelevant in any public space less And present women and girls as the people who need the most attention and cuddling in society.

A wonderful description of new levels to modern racism in America
Revisado: 03-07-19
The Author, Michelle Alexander wrote a wonderful and eye opening book to any audience interested in understanding the evolution of racism and race relations in America. The Author breaks down how each part of the justice system and society fails felons and poor families. A great read for people of color especially black men. We are in a crisis and it’s all to benefit corporate greed of the top elites! A favorite aspect of the book was the explorations of the Judges and the courts ruling decisions that over decades striped citizen of civil rights and giving more power to a more growing police state.

Maximizing the trader's state of mind is the key to successful results. Conflicts, contradictions, and paradoxes in thinking can spell disaster for even a highly motivated, astute and well-grounded trader. Mark Douglas, an industry consultant since 1982, sends the message that a "thinking strategy" will profoundly influence a trader's success rate. Douglas addresses five very specific issues to give traders the insight and understanding about themselves that will make them consistent winners in the market.
