Historia
The true story of what took place in Donald Trump’s White House during a disastrous 2020 has never before been told in full. What was really going on around the president, as the government failed to contain the coronavirus and over half a million Americans perished? Who was influencing Trump after he refused to concede an election he had clearly lost and spread lies about election fraud? To answer these questions, Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig reveal a dysfunctional and bumbling presidency’s inner workings in unprecedented, stunning detail.

Stunning Academic Indictment of Trump
Revisado: 07-25-21
I read this book hoping it would hold up in the same way Steve Coll's 'Ghost Wars' stood up to the revisionist history of Ronald Reagan's pigheaded choices around Afghanistan. Coll won the Pulitzer for that recounting of the United States erroneous follies there--including the enormous growth pattern of the Taliban after the president sent Richard Armitage there directly from the jungles of the Vietnam war in order to replant the opium fields. It was Reagan who failed back then--and it was TRUMP who failed lately. Excellent investigative reporting with a heavy responsibility to use solid gold sources. I am especially grateful to those who spoke to the authors and set history straight. How can anyone read this indictment, filled with direct quotes from the crazy man and still think they have any dignity. He was/is a corrupt bastard--and Rudy Guiliani should be ordered out of our country.
The authors deserve another Pulitzer and the sincere thanks of the nation because this book cannot be argued with and may very well be the reason the Retrumplicans traitors are peering over the side of the sinking Drumpf ship and estimating when to go ahead and leap like the slimmy rats that they are.

Historia
When Stalin came into power in 1924, the Communist government began persecuting dissident writers. Though Stalin spared the life of Boris Pasternak - whose novel in progress, Doctor Zhivago, was suspected of being anti-Soviet - he persecuted Boris' mistress, typist, and literary muse, Olga Ivinskaya. Boris' affair with Olga devastated the straitlaced Pasternaks, and they were keen to disavow Olga's role in Boris' writing process.
