Timeliness

Little confused listening to this. So many inconsistencies. John had a son, talked about his brother, never mentioned his dad, a friend gets bit and they don't know if he's immune. All of these things happened in a previous entry of the series. Not sure if audible got the series mixed up or if the author did. It definitely makes keeping things in order very difficult. I have no idea when the story is actually taking place.

Narrator sounded like a droid himself

Narrator sounded horrible. Stressing some words that didn't need it and failing to do so on the ones that did. Mostly the book was read as if the narrator was a droid himself, sounding very robotic with delivery and setup of the world and it's inhabitants. Overall the story was mediocre and is just your typical zombie virus story just in the Star Wars universe. Nothing new that hasn't already been seen or read before

Quite simply, what could go wrong did go wrong. Given the choice between assuming leadership of a situation that is pure chaos, where the National Guard is forced into a position of going to war against a trapped and possibly infected citizenry, the President chooses to punt. He knows what enforcing a quarantined zone will require: the massacre of tens of thousands of terrified people demanding to get out, and there is no way he's going to have his name and legacy sullied.

Dumbest smart people alive.

Ok, I know what the author is trying to convey with his characters but at some point common sense and logic have to come into play. Now you have two characters in this story that have on multiple occasions tried to kill the main characters. When do stop giving the benefit of the doubt and handle the problem. That's completely unbelievable, and yes I know this is a work of fiction, but reading the same thing happening to the same people by the same people is getting old. I'd like for the main characters to actually wise up and be as smart as they are portrayed to be.
