All of these factors have led to centuries worth of mysteries and stories. Countless people have ventured out on those vast expanses of water, never to return, while others have plumbed the depths and made strange discoveries.

The stories in Mysteries of the Sea are interesting but not all are mysterious. Some delve into peculiar sea practices of past centuries and stray from the mystery theme.
I purchased the audio book; the narrator is perhaps from the American South, and despite their accent is clear and easy to follow.
However, the Audible version has a notable drawback: the chapters are labeled numerically (“Chapter 1,” “Chapter 2,” etc.) without their original titles, making it frustrating to navigate and visit specific sections. This detracts from the overall usability of the audiobook.
