The advent of the internet has been one of the most significant technological developments in history. In this thought-provoking and ground-breaking work David Eagleman, author of international best seller Sum, presents six ways in which the net saves us from major existential threats: pandemics, poor information flow, natural disasters, political corruption, resource depletion and economic meltdown.

Really shows you the positive impact that the Internet has. We don’t even realize how much of a benefit it really is for humanity. Gives you a whole new perspective of the Internet. Great book!

Historia
The answers to these questions are right behind our eyes. The greatest technology we have ever discovered on our planet is the three-pound organ carried in the vault of the skull. This book is not simply about what the brain is; it is about what it does. The magic of the brain is not found in the parts it’s made of but in the way those parts unceasingly reweave themselves in an electric, living fabric.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 01-13-21
This book gives you a whole different perspective of the world. It gives you ideas of possibilities in our current technology and shows you how much we have left to progress. It does all this with real data and reasonable hypotheses based on what we already know and can observe about the brain.
