Overall a good read

Overall the book has some highly valuable insights that you can use to master yourself. Corey does go into extensive details about his personal life, childhood, adulthood etc and how he became the man he is today, more a biography about his own life. But he also offers you some excellent advice on how to master your own life, business as well as love etc.
This book is not as good as his first book, "How to be a 3% Man", which is excellent. So if you haven't read that, I would highly recommend you read that before you buy "Mastering Yourself.
