I have loved the Timeless series for years and this may have been one of my favorites so far. It took such an unexpected turn from the last book and I was so pleased with how it intertwined with the other books. It was such a great story showcasing God’s mercy and faithfulness with so much history, drama and love. Highly recommend!

Historia
New York, 1898. The only thing more shocking than Arthur Stanhope III’s unexpected death is the revelation that his will bestows his company—and most of the vast fortune that goes with it—to the nearest male heir, leaving his mother, wife, and daughter nearly impoverished. His widow, Sylvia, quickly realizes she must set aside her grief to ensure their daughter, Adelaide, is launched into society as soon as the appropriate mourning period passes.

Another great Lynn Austin novel!
Revisado: 06-19-24
Every time I find a new Lynn Austin novel I get excited - this did not disappoint! The level of complexity in weaving the 3 mains characters’ stories together was so intriguing I couldn’t stop listening. It’s like Bridgerton in New York but closed door and faith filled and I loved every second of it!

Such a Godly picture of history
Revisado: 04-10-24
This changed so much in my heart and in my knowledge of the civil war. It was so beautifully told - all 3 books from different perspectives. I would recommend (and have) to anyone and everyone.

Phenomenal Work

Every point of view was so well developed and each character had such real relatable stories. This book kept me on my toes and had my laughing out loud at parts and sobbing at others. It was so great, a definite read.

One of the best historical fiction novels
Revisado: 12-30-23
I didn’t realize until I finished the book that this was based on a true story. It was so all encapsulating and really takes you into the story. I was SO invested and absolutely bummed when it ended. I would love to see a sequel that follows down the road of the gang to see what happened later!
