Powell's narration was wonderfully done. The atmosphere created in the recording was as though he was sitting on my living room sofa having a candid conversation with me. The book is full of little nuggets and neat stories. However, I thought that there was a too strong theme of assumed military culture through out the book. I rather would have liked to hear his personal opinions on subject matters without all the political configuring. At times, you want to say, Powell just say it! Over all, it's a great piece for leaders and aspiring leaders.
