Historia
The real stories behind the scenery of America’s national parks. For 12 years, Andrea Lankford lived in the biggest, most impressive national parks in the world, working a job she loved. She chaperoned baby sea turtles on their journey to sea. She pursued bad guys on her galloping patrol horse. She jumped into rescue helicopters bound for the heart of the Grand Canyon. She won arguments with bears. She slept with a few too many rattlesnakes. Hell yeah, it was the best job in the world! Fortunately, Andrea survived it.

It's a fact that parenting is hard enough in a family where two parents love and respect each other. After divorce, when the respect has diminished and the love has often turned to intense dislike, co-parenting can be nearly impossible, driving one or both parents to the brink of insanity. Joint Custody with a Jerk offers many proven communication techniques that help you deal with your difficult ex-husband or ex-wife.

A must read/listen for divorcing parents!
Revisado: 12-03-17
I listen to this book because it was referred by the Organization that I was getting ready to work. It is an outstanding book!
Almost 10 years post divorce, I recognize so many of these techniques and skills which I have been using for years to make my life and the lives of my children less stressful. These strategies can help reduce conflict between you and your former spouse, regardless who the Jerk is in the scenario. One of the most helpful books I have read on dealing with your ex! Best wishes.

Excellent resource for understanding why.
Revisado: 05-15-16
One of the most accurate books I have read in a long time. The author absolutely knows this topic very well!! It is a great resource for individuals who are dealing with an abusive partner. It helps with lifesaving insight and tactics in understanding and safely extracting ones self and children from such an intolerable environment.
Thanks to the Author for writing this book. I'm sure it has and will continue to make a significant different in the lives of individuals who have been affected by domestic violence.

Historia
As it was in Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary, and Othello, so it is in life. Most forms of private vice and public evil are kindled and sustained by lies. Acts of adultery and other personal betrayals, financial fraud, government corruption - even murder and genocide - generally require an additional moral defect: a willingness to lie. In Lying, bestselling author and neuroscientist Sam Harris argues that we can radically simplify our lives and improve society by merely telling the truth in situations where others often lie.

Must read! So very thought provoking!
Revisado: 10-04-15
Excellent book! Impressive way of breaking down how damaging and destruction lies are to our relationships. Even telling "white" lies aren't doing anyone any favors. I love Sam Harris! So authentic!
