A phenomenal memoir!

As a resident of Charleston, I was anxious and curious as to how this book would describe those days in which I myself lived through and was part of its history. From the beginning, this author gave great details and description into the life of the 44th president during such an historical tragedy, and what’s that perspective was really like. A must read for anybody who believes how great our country was and can be again with the right leader at the helm. This book just once again, reminded me how much I miss our 44th president.

We all start somewhere…

In Pillow Talk, you learn the Southern Charm star and small business owner Craig Conovers start…and re-start, and all the bumps in-between. From being a child from the state of Delaware, to his migration to Charleston and entering into adulthood, reality TV, law school, addiction, relationships, and launching of a business during a worldwide pandemic. I do hope that I will run into Craig somewhere here in Charleston so I can shake his hand and thank him for this story! It’s awesome!!

A wonderful and insightful look into a very unknown American!

Prior to listening to the story there was very little I knew about President Johnson and Mrs. Johnson. I had visited the LBJ museum and library in Austin and that was about the extent to which I knew of anything in regards to his presidency and their life. However after reading this book and hearing of what the Times brought to them and what they brought to the nation I can no longer say that I don’t know much about them. The author spend time and energy and insight into the very historic and talked about moments in their lives while also providing great detail into the unknown for readers like myself. Now that I finished the book it sure does make me wish I could go visit the museum and library again as I would have much more knowledge this time around.

The greatest inside look into our nations top law enforcement agency!

I thought I had read every book, watched every show, and listened to every story about the United States Secret Service, that is until I began listening to this great inside look into the nations most elite law enforcement and protective agency. The author walks readers through the history section of this agency from JFK years all the way to present day, while providing new first hand accounts of events, details, and insight that had previously not be shared. I simply was enthralled with this book and truly had a difficult time letting it go. Absolutely loved it!!

An easy and uplifting message from the Lowcountry

The author brings us into his real life and who he was before the show, how the show has matured him, and where he sees himself as he moves forward living in Shepland! I laughed, and I cried, and being that we both live in the same city I was able to see myself in the local locations he speaks of. Very nice work Mr. Rose!

An amazing first hand testimony!

If I would be given the opportunity to talk to Director Comey I would say that he truly should have been an author! While I admire and thank him for his outstanding career in law and law enforcement, listening to his recount of events that have shaped himself and his family had me captivated and just waiting to hear more! Excellent read!

To listen to the words of the 44th president of the United States describe his childhood and growing up and his rise to the presidency of the United States has left me inspired, motivated, in awe, and wishing that he could’ve been elected for a third term or longer… He was a modern-day American who rose to the challenge.

A 2020 Election MUST READ!

Journalist Bob Woodward has once again shown how the 45th president of United States in his own words is incapable and unable to provide the leadership necessary to lead this country. This book should be read by all Americans who are voting in the November 2020 presidential election as it says so much about who our leader is and where our country will be going if he is reelected. An amazing first hand account!

Eyes Wide Open into the world of D.J.T.

Much to the authors admittance and acknowledgment this story tells the true facts of what our 45th president was like prior to, during, and possibly after he leaves the presidency. The insight that the author was able to provide into the life of our current president will make you truly question who this man is that sits in the highest office of the land. While I did not agree necessarily with the actions the author had performed in his time with Mr. Trump, I feel more knowledgeable educated and have harden my stance as to why this man should not have been elected and should not be reelected to the office in which he currently holds. Thank you Mr. Cohen for being able to provide this firsthand look into the lunatic and demented world of president Donald Trump.
