Historia
Herman Wouk's sweeping epic of World War II stands as the crowning achievement of one of America's most celebrated storytellers. Like no other books about the war, Wouk's spellbinding narrative captures the tide of global events - and all the drama, romance, heroism, and tragedy of World War II - as it immerses us in the lives of a single American family drawn into the very center of the war's maelstrom.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, It's historically accurate as well as entertaining
Who was your favorite character and why?
Victor "Pug" Henry
Have you listened to any of Kevin Pariseau’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but I intend to add him to my list of outstanding performers. He is a very intelligent narrator, actor and personality. He is thoroughly prepared to introduce you to every charactor in these books. They come alive and you forget that this is one man performing every role.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Years ago, I watched the mini-series on TV. The book is so much better.

Historia
"I am in Birmingham because injustice is here," declared Martin Luther King, Jr. He had come to that city of racist terror convinced that massive protest could topple Jim Crow. But the insurgency faltered. To revive it, King made a sacrificial act on Good Friday, April 12, 1963: He was arrested. Alone in his cell, reading a newspaper, he found a statement from eight "moderate" clergymen who branded the protests extremist and "untimely".

Traded to Comanches, he thrived in the rough nomadic existence, quickly becoming one of the tribe's fiercest warriors. Forcibly returned to his parents after three years, Korn never adjusted to life in white society. He spent his last years living in a cave, all but forgotten by his family. That is, until Scott Zesch stumbled upon his great-great-great-uncle's grave. Determined to understand how such a "good boy" could have become Indianized so completely, Zesch traveled across the West.
