This book was an absolute joy to listen to. The story was wonderfully written, funny and sexy. I listened to it in one day and will definitely be listening to it again. I hope it’s the first of many to feature Native Romance. More please!

Deep Dive Fantasy Adventure

I loved this story and all the narrators did a fantastic job. With new worlds it can sometimes be difficult to wrap your head around what’s going on. For me, this is particularly true in audio format. However, if you push through it will be absolutely rewarding and a lot of fun. I cannot wait for book 2!

Great narrator. Story not so much.

*Spoilers* I couldn’t wait to dive into this book after Malice. Man, was I disappointed. This book doesn’t compare to its counterpart in plot or writing. Alice is so poorly written this time around. She was constantly saying/thinking “Dragons teeth!” I kept imagining a valley teenager saying “OMG!” over every little thing. She also kept commenting on how stupid she was for not realizing things sooner which gets really old really fast. This was our smart and talented protagonist! She was destroyed by a villain living inside her own head and then turned into an angsty moron.

Fun story but...

The narration is like nails on a chalkboard. I really wanted to love this book but I won't be able to listen to it again. It's not the narrator's voice, it's the direction she was given or the style or tone that was chosen.
