Beautiful story about love and courage

This is a true love story that I highly recommend. Cancer is such a horrible thing to go through. One thing that really hit home for me was reading about all the up and downs. One day things look like they are getting better and you start to get your hopes up. You find out the treatment worked and feel so relieved. Then you find out it came back. It's so heartbreaking. The author did an amazing job writing this book. Listening to it, I felt like I was right there for both the good times and the sad times and really got to know Amanda and Lars. Such cool people. There were parts where I started to tear up. But I was also very inspired by the great love they had for each other and the courage they showed.

A ton of great info and practical advise

I found out about this book after I was already a fan of the author's YouTube channel, which I highly recommend to any musician trying to figure out how make it in music. If you like his videos you'll love this book. To me it's actually about a lot more than just creativity. It's a ton of excellent advise from all his years of experience in the industry. When you hear him talk, there's no question, he knows his stuff. One thing I like is the way he breaks down everything in a way that is very straight forward, easy to absorb and entertaining.

A must read for anyone against animal abuse.

There's a ton of great books about veganism that are very informative about the horrors of animal agriculture. But this book is different. It's main focus is to give practical advise on all the things we can do to be more effective in bringing about change. There's many examples here that will give you ideas. And there's a lot of info about different ways we can get the word out and inspire people to make better choices. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to make the most impact possible when it comes to reducing the pain and suffering we inflict on animals.

It's a light read but I grew up in the 80s and this book brought back cool memories. There were a few things I didn't recognize, which might be due the writer being from the UK and me being from the US. I recommend to anyone who wants to have fun reminiscing.

It was an interesting book. I can't vouch for the accuracy of it or how thorough it it. But it gave me good things to think about and I feel that I'm now more prepared for an interview at amazon or even somewhere else.

Perfect for what I needed.

This is the perfect audiobook for someone at my level of Spanish. That's because although I know a ton of Spanish words, I'm always lost when I hear Spanish conversations. I found the conversations in this book to be challenging enough for me to learn but not so difficult that I just want to give up. It's a good happy medium.

Don't expect this to be all about GNR. There's some of that but this is mostly the author's life story. She's had an interesting life though. She's worked with a lot of cool bands, many of which screwed her over when it was time to get paid. That was sad, but overall this is a pretty interesting life story.
