Especially fun if you've visited Edinburgh
Revisado: 05-04-23
This is a great series. Well written characters and a lot of Edinburgh history thrown in. I have visited Edinburgh 3 times and seen many of the locations engendered in the series. But the author's descriptions produce even stronger memories than my photos! This particular story is intriguing with mystery piled upon mystery. Although the author makes sure this book can stand alone, it's best to read them in order as the characters and relationships grow throughout the series. Overall, it's a fun read. And, as an audio book, I must say, the actor/reader is superb.

1 chapter too long!
Revisado: 08-01-22
A good story, not too deep to follow, and possible to work out a few chapters before the characters discover the answer. An excellent Cosy Mystery read. However, after the book was "over" it continued on for another 17 minutes . . .

A perfect way to spend 6 hours!
Revisado: 04-16-18
Wonderfully descriptive yet not overly wordy, this well narrated mystery packs a lot of plot turns in a bit over 6 hours. While the book certainty can stand alone, reading the first in the series (this 8s the 3rd) will quicken one's understanding of some of the returning characters.
