Corta pero altamente entretenida. Muy muy muy creativa. Un vendedor de huevos? Deveras?

Historia
Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss, and by fate. As they endure the ever escalating dangers around them, in their home as well as in the streets of Kabul, they come to form a bond that makes them both sisters and mother-daughter to each other, and that will ultimately alter the course not just of their own lives but of the next generation.

Good book
Revisado: 07-27-23
I listened this one immediately after The Kite Runner -that I rated as an outstanding story. I don’t want to give the wrong idea that this one is not a good one, but perhaps it became “repetitive” of the same drama. Therefore, I I recommend to read both but with some time in between.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

Wow what a story!
Revisado: 07-09-23
One of the best books I’ve read This story has a lot to offer: reality, dreams, culture, hope, lies, forgiveness, truths, love. But above all it is what life is, that although not everything is happiness, we will have the ability to move on. Congratulations to the writer

Historia
It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

I loved the story but specially how it was read. What a different voice of the narrator but that’s exactly what made the story unique

Even it was a bit confusing (I had to listen more than once to understand what was going on) I think the story had its charm. I loved the interaction of the dialogues between Lou and Molly. Very very creative.

Historia
It was summer in the mountains when five small children vanished from their nursery school picnic. The heat was stifling that day, the tinkle of an ice-cream van in the air.... Three-and-a-half years later, in the dead of winter, the children are returned to their families...one by one. All except for Ivy - the granddaughter of Homicide Detective Kate Wakeland. The other four children say Ivy is dead.

I really enjoyed it
Revisado: 12-26-22
Although the story could be classified for me as science fiction (meaning that’s something so difficult that it can happen, it kept me interested all the time. My native language is Spanish, so it’s important for me the performance and in this case no complaints at all.
