Historia
America is in crisis, from the university to the workplace. Toxic ideas first spread by higher education have undermined humanistic values, fueled intolerance, and widened divisions in our larger culture. The Diversity Delusion argues that the root of this problem is the belief in America’s endemic racism and sexism, a belief that has engendered a metastasizing diversity bureaucracy in society and academia.

Not a Blockbuster
Revisado: 08-20-19
I really like Heather as a speaker. The book was lackluster and had some useless chapters dedicated to unrelated matters. I would have preferred much more gouging at the universities and corporations for their ridiculous delusional diversity endeavors. I'm sure there was plenty of juicy fodder, it just didn't quite reach a satisfying crescendo.

Historia
Do antidepressants work, or are they no better than placebos? Like his colleagues, Irving Kirsch spent years referring patients to psychiatrists to have their depression treated with drugs. Eventually, however, he decided to investigate for himself just how effective the drugs actually were. With 15 years of research, Kirsch demonstrates that what everyone “knew” about antidepressants is wrong; what the medical community considered a cornerstone of psychiatric treatment is little more than a faulty consensus.

Historia
It is taken for granted, even among many Washington policymakers, that Islam is a fundamentally peaceful religion and that Islamic jihad terrorism is something relatively new, a product of the economic and political ferment of the 20th century. But in The History of Jihad: From Muhammad to ISIS, Islamic scholar Robert Spencer proves definitively that Islamic terror is as old as Islam itself, as old as Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, who said “I have been made victorious through terror.”

Should be required reading!
Revisado: 11-10-18
Robert Spencer narrates this brilliantly researched and compiled foray into the true nature of Islamic Jihad with great fervor. From Muhammad's robbing of caravans, to the reality of Islamic infiltration of the U.S. government, this book leaves no stone unturned in exposing the exact meaning and consequences of Jihad.
