This was… campy& repetitive from prior books in series

I was really looking forward to this one…. Sadly, this fell flat for me. Campy and repetitive in word usage, I thought I was listening to Harper and not Piper. Which by the way are very similar sounding names too. This one just felt bland. And I absolutely was addicted to the series. Honestly. I also think a new narrator is in order. She isn’t terrible but that made the repetitive feeling that more solidified.

Drawn out “storyline”

I feel this book was stretched and played out. Not much momentum going, not much story moving past what we “know”. I had hope for this because of the reviews but it’s an okay read. Only an okay read.

This was a very fulfilling read.

I really do love this story. It caught me right from the start. It had a good rhythm and flow in its storytelling. At first I argued with the Emily’s stubborn mentality. Then, I realized it was how any normal person would handle someone trying to change/alter their current lives. The ending was very nice and fit nicely in the puzzle.

The narrators aren’t my typical preference but the actual did really well. They balance each other’s tones well.

This books has some of the best narrators. Anddddddd that’s where it ends. The story was meh. Very predictable and many times cheesy. I love complex ménage storylines, this book just didn’t have it. It lacked depth and character development. I felt absolutely nothing towards either character. The writing was just not there.

This book topped its predecessor “Priest” 👏

I thoroughly love Sean’s POV depth. My god. There was some amazing writing done in there. This book was spicy but in the perfect way. There was no overkill on that. It was a well balanced kink that didn’t skip the emotion... cause then it would be like watching a porno with mediocre acting. The emotion and character depth was there and alive. I live for this book. I also cried my face off (Not many books have made me cry like a f**king baby, this one did).

Jacob Morgan is Sean. He gives life to his characters. His voice is romantic, dreamy, sultry, sinful and captivating. Who on this planet can truly say anything different?!?!

Sadly, this book fell flat. What’s worst is it was read by a flat narrator. Stella was decent but the male narrator manages to become more monotone with the progression of the story. Charlene & Darren’s built up throughout the series was so good and laced with curiosity. I can honestly say their book was not at all what I had anticipated. This was a let down for the series.

It was an okay story. Nothing memorable or too enticing. Had it’s cliche moments and predictability. I’m also not a SebYo fan. He’s very bland and has one way of narrating every character. It gets boring fast. Overall, an okay book.

I’m a very honest reviewer and I’m sad that this series is not higher on the rating scale. First off, I am not a big fan of authors trying to siphon money from readers with long drawn out repetitive series. It’s tacky and tasteless. There is absolutely no logical point in showing the same issues over and over and over. We get it, the age is an issue, we’ve established that conflict in book 1. The pacing was HORRIBLE. Filler scenes up the ass in this series. You get nowhere in these books. A whole lot of nothing happening in the pages. A crap load of internal yapping that goes in circles. Now, my second issue is the overall emotions I felt reading this book..., I read for escapism and joy. Don’t get me wrong I like my stories to have unique conflicts, this..., this series never brought that joy, that happiness and fulfillment that one gets from stories, that desire to “know” the world the author has created and wish to be a part of it. It is a nonstop roller coaster of frustration and no overall champion character to care about. They all ruin the story. Not one actual redeeming quality to either of them. I am most sadden by that revelation the most. I truly and whole heartedly wanted this to be a series to fall in love with. I so desperately hoped I’d have a new series to spread to my friends and talk to them about the characters like the characters are real people. I have never read any of this author’s books before. Sadly, this series has turned me off from delving into anything else she offers. I do not like feeling taken advantage of... so I will be getting my money back. As much as I absolutely adore and follow the narrators I still couldn’t justify the price for the literature that was provided. I know what I’ve written is pretty harsh, I just couldn’t bypass writing a very honest review. I work hard for my money and spend hours reading/listening. It is time I cannot replace.
