meh blood angel story
Revisado: 12-19-22
Lets say you wanted to know more about....oh...lets say, Bill Clinton. So you buy a book called "Bill Clinton" right?
Now imagine that instead of reading a story about Bill Clinton, what you ACTUALLY get is someones point of view about Bill Clinton that isnt even a part of his cabinet. Just some random reporter giving his thoughts about the White House.
This was an extremely passable read. If youre a Blood Angel fan, go read Dante, The Devastation of Baal, or Echoes of Eternity. If youre just a 40k fan looking for a cool story, look elsewhere.

Historia
Carried by six Sisters of Battle, each the embodiment of a revered saint, the funerary procession known as the Triumph of Saint Katherine marches from world to world, battlefront to battlefront. Where darkness and heresy are rampant, it brings faith, hope and courage to the warriors of the Imperium. Sister Avra of the Order of Our Martyred Lady is honoured beyond measure to battle alongside the sacred procession in defence of the beleaguered world of Kiros. However, this bold young warrior holds a secret shame in her heart, one she believes can only be redeemed in death.

Pleasantly surprised
Revisado: 05-24-22
i have been trying to find a good sisters story to listen too, but it seems like every book so far has been getting luke warm reviews.
i went into this one with low expectations, but it was (thankfully) a really good look into the mindset of each of the different orders of the sisters of battle.
the dialogue is a little cringe in the opening chapters, and i can do with a little less singing from a narrator, but the rest is pretty solid.
a small, self contained story that is a good break from galaxy spanning conflicts, or stories with way too many characters to keep track of.
definitely recommend to sisters fans. and even if your not, it gives you a peek as to why space nuns are so efficient in a galaxy filled with armored super soldiers and literal nightmares from hell.
