Historia
We live in a close-knit community. Thirty houses surrounding a square of garden that is perfect for our kids. We congregate here on major holidays, each family bringing a plate and sharing food and conversation. It’s in the garden that I first met her. The woman who would worm her way into my family and piece by piece tear it apart.

Excellent Story
Revisado: 03-27-24
I was not sure what to expect from this book but, gave it a shot. I am not fond of books that fall within Women's Literature because of all the examination of feelings and the constant what-if scenarios. This book is a mystery, a puzzle and you will never guess the end. I loved it and will be adding her books to my wish list.

What did you love best about Faith of My Fathers?
Reading about God's great works. Reading about others moments of great faith and times of less faith.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Faith of My Fathers?
I don't want to ruin the story for others.

Historia
"If Robert Littell didn't invent the American spy novel," says Tom Clancy, "he should have." In this spectacular Cold-War-as-Alice-in-Wonderland epic, Littell, "the American le Carre," takes us down the rabbit hole and into the labyrinthine world of espionage that has been the CIA for the last half-century. "Ostensibly a single novel, The Company can also be listened to as an anthology of cracking good spy stories," says ( Publishers Weekly).

LANGUAGE ALERT
Revisado: 01-06-12
Would you listen to The Company again? Why?
In the first 20 minutes of the story, the Lord's name was taken in vain about 6 or 7 times. I am sure this is part of developing the character of this one grizzled CIA agent. I did not continue the story, I am sure it is excellent beyond this. This review is just to give a heads up for those who choose not to listen to this type language.
