Historia
Picking up from A Discovery of Witches' cliff-hanger ending, Shadow of Night takes reluctant witch Diana Bishop and vampire geneticist Matthew Clairmont on a trip through time to Elizabethan London, where they are plunged into a world of spies, magic, and a coterie of Matthew's old friends, the School of Night. As the search for Ashmole 782—the lost and enchanted manuscript whose mystery first pulled Diana and Matthew into one another's orbit—deepens and Diana seeks out a witch to tutor her in magic, the net of Matthew's past tightens around them.

Historia
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr. Caldwell calls her "our little genius". Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don't like her. She jokes that she won't bite, but they don't laugh. Melanie loves school. She loves learning about spelling and sums and the world outside the classroom and the children's cells. She tells her favorite teacher all the things she'll do when she grows up.

Interesting story
Revisado: 06-23-15
In a world of Zombies and the remnants of human society, there is the story of a half zombie girl and the human teacher who cares for her. The story is kind of The Passage meets the walking dead. You have a likable little girl on a quest to find out who she is-or what, and the humans trying to find a cure for the zombie plague before it is too late for humanity.

Just when Julia thinks she's managed to untangle herself from Macy's clutches, he changes tactics with a risky ploy. As the scandal of the century breaks loose, drawing rooms all over London whisper what so far newspapers have not dared to print: Macy's lost bride is none other than Lord Pierson's daughter.

Rip Van Winkle?
Revisado: 01-27-15
This was the quest of a girl who woke up and discovered it was six months after she thought it was. She is trying to regain her memories, not let on how much she has forgotten, and figure out the danger those memories hold . Worth a read.

Part two of If I Stay
Revisado: 01-13-15
This continues the story started in the first book. It is three years later and the story is told from the guy's point of view this time.
It has a different feel this time and you get to see the aftermath of the accident from a different perspective.
While I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first on, it is still a good read.
