Reads like an encyclopedia

I started reading this book on a trip and couldn’t bring it home with me. I purchased it on Audible to finish it, and found the narrator monotonous. He sounds more bored reading it than I feel listening. I should have stolen the book from my AirBnb.

Couldn’t finish it

Besides the story dragging in places, there are some REALLY sick, dark parts of this book I couldn’t listen to (coming from an avid Stephen King fan). The narrators get 4 stars for being able to make it through the whole thing.

The Narrator is different, and we’re all still FINE

I’ve never left an Audible review, but felt like I needed to defend this poor lady. Folks are ruthless. The book is still great, we’re all still addicted to the story, and we’re all still not having to (God forbid) read on our own. If you want the same voice to commit to an entire series, read it aloud instead of listening while you’re doing the dishes, painting your living room, walking your dog, or driving down the interstate. Audible is my favorite app. Y’all, calm down.
