Great Revitalization of the Series

I have loved this series overall, but the last few books had too many talking heads and perspectives that weren't super interesting. This one gets back to earlier books in the series where The MC story line is interesting and the other perspectives are well done. The books seemed a bit longer as well. Well done.

Great Story

It is nice having an intelligent MC. The story is good and the Narrator does a great job on different characters. I am glad to see this war over as really my only negative is how much the story focused on the most horrible parts of the war.

A Great Start to a Series

*Note I had purchased the Regular Edition a few years back, and noticed it had disappeared from my Library when I went to re-read it, I reached out to Support with my details, and they gave me free Audible credit to my account. I just figured I'd include this if anybody else runs into this same issue*

It takes a bit for the story to get going but it is a good introduction to the World and the MC. Overall, it feels like the start of an Epic tale. With a good mix of fighting, cultivation, and a bit of LitRPG.

A good solid book

I just re-read it as the third book came out, so I wanted to start over. The book is far from perfect, but a solid 4.5 stars.


Upon the re-read I liked the book a bit less than I did originally, but it's still a good read.

Overall a Great continuation

This felt much shorter than the previous installments, but it is still a good story. I have noticed a bad trend in the last few stories though. For some reason he lets all of the Bad guy's Grandstand for like 10-15 minutes of reading time and he just stands there and lets them, as they gather power or plot some final attack. He has done this 4 or 5 times in the last two books. Even when they have no chance, it's just annoying when they badmouth the MC for a whole chapter... I want him to smoosh them 10 minutes ago :).

A Good continuation

I'm not sure why this Story doesn't have more attention as it is one of the better LITRPGs, especially if you like a good balance between fighting and crafting.

A Great Value

This is a great story and good value for 1 credit. It is a pretty crafting intensive LITRGP but definitely worth 1 credit.

Good Oberall

It's a great story overall, entertaining and not if you aren't fan of more Graffic Romance/Harem novels you will enjoy this one..

MC is good overall, but occasionally goes into whining tantrums over getting free stuff...which is odd. One chapter he is worried how he will possibly protect Earth from all the other God's, and the next chapter he whines when he earns things to help, it gets so bad he whines about the most basic things... I came close to dropping the book when I mistook him for a 4 year old throwing a tantrum one chapter.

That being said, overall the boom is great those whining moments just seem forced like it's a character flaw that doesn't really fit.

Love Hate Relationship

First off, I love the book overall. The story is great, the writing phenomenal and the performance by the Narrator really hits the right tone. Thus the 5 start review. The reason for the title of my review is well the MC. He is great overall, tough, strong, and well he tries really hard which all helped me get past me thinking he was basically a "Frat Boy who never grew up." initial impression of him in the first book.

He just occasionally does things so dumb, you just kind of have to stop reading... look at your phone.... look at the sky.... look back to your phone...ponder the meaning of life.... breathe in and out really slowly..... /Sigh and start reading again lol. Then realize that his dumb decision somehow progressed the story very nicely, so you /shrug and forget about it until the next one. Then rinse and repeat about five more times throughout the book.

Great Start to a New Series

A great start and looking forward to those that follow. I am also Interested how this series will overlap with God's Eye and eventually The Land. I can see how it'll be hard to Integrate them together, especially has Richters growth seems much slower than the other two series.

Only negative I can think of is for some reason the chime sound used in Narration was a bit too piercing.
