Historia
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

Well spoken and interesting
Revisado: 10-22-23
James speaks as well as he sings. He is authentic, honest, informative, and an entertaining listen. His talent is obvious when he performs, but the hurt behind the songs gives you a new perspective on his songwriting process.

beautiful telling of Burt's life and loves
Revisado: 05-06-22
once I started listening, I couldn't turn it off. the narration was superb. I've been a huge Burt fan since junior high school in the 60s, and a college music major in the 70s who loved to study his compositional style. Yet I learned so much about his life through this book. I wish he knew how much this all meant to me; he's truly my life mentor about what good music is.

Historia
A gripping and emotional novel that will leave you wondering about the neighbors next door...On a cold January night, Sharon Lemke heads outside to see a lunar eclipse when she notices something odd at the house behind her backyard. Through her neighbor's kitchen window, she sees what appears to be a little girl washing dishes late at night. But the Fleming family doesn't have a child that age, and even if they did, why would she be doing housework at this late hour?

Predictable
Revisado: 04-30-21
Predictable, my first Audible book. Not sure if I enjoyed the narration piece. Didn’t like lead Mother character- Suzette.
