Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Andy Weir is amazing
Revisado: 10-03-21
Every book of Andy’s leaves a mark on me in a good way. This book touched my soul. His story telling is legendary, and his plot twists make it hard to breath. Do yourself a favor and throw a Hail Mary in your library. You will not regret it.

Historia
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

Positive Liberty
Revisado: 10-13-19
All I can say is thank you Tara. This book has opened a rift in my conscience self. I have been struggling for a while now with depression. Therapy and meetings only go so far, but positive liberty is transformative. I was raised in the Methodist church and for years I subscribed to organized religion... or was controlled by it. At some point I stopped believing in a higher power all together. The story of her life in Idaho, and the constant storm of her family have shaken me. I can write my history, and my relationship to God is between he and I. I am living one day at a time, and I am trying to free myself from judgement that I create in my mind based on old ideas put there by others. All of us have been educated in some way... Tara's story might help to break the chains that are keeping you imprisoned in a place you helped make. Read, listen, and share you will not regret it.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.
