Mind blowing

I’ve listened to many audible books over the years some good some bad… some great. This is one of them.! a pretty good at guessing the end it didn’t happen with this one. The narrators were phenomenal. I think that Richard Armitage can read the telephone book and I’ll enjoy it Stephanie Racine was also excellent.
The story line grew and grew building to a phenomenal conclusion. I wish all the books I read could keep me as engrossed as this one.

Another excellent installation of the Hillary Green series

Hillary just can’t stay away from solving murders. I’d love the nuanced relationship with her new boss expect to see much more in the next book. Never too sappy when it comes to relationships. The stalker relationship is quite ingenious. Looks to continue through the next few novels.

This a the second time listening !

I’ve listen to this book before, along with the Thursday murder club. Listening to Lesley Manville’s narration is pure perfection. Tried listening to book 3, but could not appreciate the story with the narrator. I decided to buy the hardcover and was able to continue the series. It appears the book for will also be with a different narrator, so I will probably just buy the hardcover.

The narrator that missed!

I was anxiously waiting for this to come out and I’m so disappointed. The narrator left much to be desired - all the female voices sound the same - forget about trying to do the male characters. All she does is whisper…Joyce doesn’t whisper!!!
Lesley Manville brought so much to the narrative and she is missed. I think I’ll have to purchase the hardcover. I am on chapter 9 and can’t seem to get involved in the story.

I can’t believe I finished this book. I now have a headache. There was so much repetition. I hear the three victims names and the three room numbers i’ll scream.
Poirot would never work with such an ignorant detective. Even Hastings had always helped him in some way.

Keeps getting better

Some of the best narration I’ve ever listened to.
The characters are very real and engaging.
As soon as I finish each novel I wait with much anticipation for the next one hurry up and get one out for us.
