Favorite Shifter Series

The Wild Hunt Legacy is by far my favorite shifter series...I've read it several times and this time around I decided to listen to the audible version. It was phenomenal! Duet Narration is the best way to experience audio - the woman voices all the female characters and the man voices all the male characters. Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard did a phenomenal job of giving voice to each of the different characters in the book. Five PLUS PLUS PLUS Stars!!!

One of my favorites this year

I've been on an ugly cry kick lately and A wish for Us delivered it in spades. The story of Bonnie and Cromwell ripped me to pieces...and Easton - I loved that boy so very very much. I'm pretty sure I cried more than I laughed. From the first page to the last I was invested in their world and was sad when I had to say goodbye. Tillie Cole wrapped it up like no one else can and slowly put me back together again.

The narration was on point...I'm not sure I would have walked away with the same gut wrenching feeling had I chose to read it instead. Angela Moore and Jay Skelton brought this book to life for me. Such a beautiful story!!!

I only have a few words for this review because I don't want to rehash the story line. I went in blind other than hearing "have a box of Kleenex" handy - with those words alone I knew I wanted in. It came out of left field and oh dear lord it killed me. I had to keep turning it off to catch my breath and dry my eyes. It was a love story that spanned years. It was far from perfect and riddled with so many instances of heartbreak. I felt every piece of their pain. Their love was everything and more. They are a couple that will stay with me long past the last page.

Sarah Pukkett and Jarman Day did a phenomenal job of bringing this story to live. Kudos to both of you for taking on the difficult task of narrating this story.

This was my first story by Leaona Luxx and she did not disappoint.

Heartbreaking

I'm going to make this one short...Lily's story is absolutely heartbreaking and difficult to listen to. I cried along with this poor child - knowing nothing but violence and hate nearly her whole life. The way she was raised - it's beyond anything I can put into words - knowing there are women and children going through this type of abuse everyday.

There isn't much to say about Max - I loved him from the moment he appeared. I'm all over a book that has the hero having any type of disability and seeing them getting their happily ever after. Lily and Max were made for each other and I was beyond thrilled that they found each other, even though it was during a horrific period of Lily's life.

Becca Ballenger portrayed Lily in a way that made me picture her exactly as she was described in the book. Kudos for narrating such a difficult book. Solid five stars!

One of my favorite MC series :)

I have read this series several times and decided to listen to it this time. The books are amazing to read, but listening to them? Outstanding! J.F. Harding and Annie Green brought this story to life - so much emotion from both. No doubt Tillie Cole writes an amazing MC book and her choice for narrators was spot on! 5 SHINING STARS!!!

Make it a quickie

4.5 stars!!! This is a sweet, quick office romance to listen to when you're pressed for time with just enough heat to stoke the fire and keep you interested. Owen has a no dating employees rule until he comes across the tempting curves of Addy...and then it's all bets are off and the rules are tossed out the window. It was quick and steamy with lots of chemistry between the two MC's. I love these kind of books/audibles when nothing else is calling to me - they are cute and just long enough to clear my mind of all the dark books I lean towards.

I'm finding I pretty much love anything Randi Johnson narrates - love his growly voice :)

Holy Hotness...possible spoilers

Whoa...there is nothing hotter than Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan narrating an M/M story - once again they did not disappoint.

Based in high school, it's a friends to enemies to lovers story. Penn knowing pretty early on that he had feelings for his best friend Copeland - and an unfortunate incident of acting on those feelings tearing them apart. A couple years later they are thrust back into each others lives where we get to witness Cope's feelings gradually change and Penn's every fantasy come true. Loved that they were each others firsts and they got their HEA.

I was thinking there would be a big reveal about the father's at the end since both of them were POS to their sons and the mother's were pretty much non-existent throughout. Just a feeling at the back of my brain that never came to fruition...which would have made this story a whole new level of taboo :)

Solid 4.5 stars!

Sweet enemies to lovers

I enjoy a good enemies to lovers story and this one most definitely had it. The only change I would have liked to see was a little more back story on Mason and Liam - seemed like there could have been more to say there that would have added to the story. Especially where Mason was concerned and his upbringing. All in all a good, quick listen.

Once again Randi Johnson did a great job narrating the group of characters and giving them all their own voice.

Patiently waiting for my alien...

This was a quick, fun listen. Obviously you have to REALLY suspend reality with this one - I know if I was up in space alone and taken by a 7 foot alien, "mating" would not be on my mind...or how good looking he was :)

I loved Bren's character and Randi Johnson did a phenomenal job of bringing him to life. Bren was just the way I like an alpha character - possessive beyond reason. Kelsey Navarro was amazing in her portrayal of Hannah - strong with a soft side. There was no real courting between the two - Bren knew before he even met Hannah that she was his mate. He claimed her when he saw her - end of story.

I enjoyed listening to Bren's Blessing and will probably be listening to Matthias's Miracle when it releases.

Perfect ending to an amazing trilogy!

This was quite the finish to an amazing trilogy! Crazy how everything came together. The ending was absolutely perfect - and definitely not what I expected. Throughout the series I was really on the fence with how I felt about Merlin - I take back all the nasty thoughts I had about him. All his mysterious ways and cryptic comments - just WOW! To think I kept putting off listening to this series - I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Narration by Guy Locke and Stephanie Rose were on point and they both did a phenomenal job of portraying the emotions of all the characters.
