Historia
Being 16 is always difficult, even more so when there's a Death in the family. After all, it's hard to grow up normally when Grandfather rides a white horse and wields a scythe. Especially if he decides to take a well-earned moment to uncover the meaning of life and discover himself in the process, so that you have to take over the family business, and everyone mistakes you for the Tooth Fairy.

Historia
Death has been fired by the Auditors of Reality for the heinous crime of developing…a personality. Sent to live like everyone else, Death takes a new name and begins working as a farmhand. He's got the scythe already, after all. And for humanity, Death is just…gone. Which leads to the kind of chaos you always get when an important public service is withdrawn. If Death doesn't come for you, then what are you supposed to do in the meantime? You can't have the undead wandering about like lost souls—there's no telling what might happen.

Surprising
Revisado: 11-13-22
I'll admit it, my expectations were low. I mean how do various authors take a stab at creating new Miss Marple stories by the formidable Agatha Christie? I have read most of Christie's works and I believed I would mostly be disappointed with this collection. I feel it was obvious that each writer was a true fan of Christie's Marple stories. Research into past Christie stories and the time periods don't disappoint in any of these tales. A true Marple fan will love this collection.

A classic comedy of errors. The vocal performances are great and the story is delightful. The run time is rather short making this a relatively quick listen.

Historia
The daughter of a respectable self-made businessman, the middle-aged Eliot was cast into social exile when she began a scandalous liaison with married writer and scientist George Henry Lewes. Only her burgeoning literary success allowed her to overcome society's disapproval and eventually take her proper place at the heart of London's literary elite. The territory of her novels encompassed the entire span of Victorian society.

Philosophy, morality , humor and art
Revisado: 09-07-22
Performance: Serkis gives a great performance worthy of everything you expect of him. You can tell he prepared and enjoyed the text. I love when a talented actor delivers more than just a familar voice to a book. This was a true Serkis performance. Well done. Prachett : An interesting, moving book about Gods, religion, morality, science and some of the important history of the Discworld. To me this book is an essential read to understand Discworld and Prachett in general.

True and well versed fans only...
Revisado: 08-09-22
I feel fairly conflicted about this story. To tell you the absolute truth, I've listened to over 25 of Agatha Christie's stories and this one threw me for a loop. I know that she is a great storyteller.I trust that she knows what she's doing but, I had a hard time holding on for this tale. I had many bones to pick with this story but, those who persevere and hold out I feel that the last few chapters of this tale really make up for the rest. I feel that this an example of an author reaching and trying to do new things.

Historia
Beautiful young Elinor Carlisle stood serenely in the dock, accused of the murder of Mary Gerrard, her rival in love. The evidence was damning: only Elinor had the motive, the opportunity, and the means to administer the fatal poison. Yet, inside the hostile courtroom, only one man still presumed Elinor was innocent until proven guilty: Hercule Poirot was all that stood between Elinor and the gallows.
