I disliked the lack of perception of the scale and size of space in conjunction with instant communication across light years.
the author needs a better grasp of astronomy and physics.

The protagonist is just pathetic. Weak and cowardly. Without plot armor he would be dead. The story just drags. It is a complete waste of time.

I want those wasted 90 minutes of listening back!

I don't even care about the money I paid, I wasted about 90 minutes of my life commuting to work listening to this abortion of a story. Absolutely atrocious. The motivations of the protagonist are utter SUCK. The stupidity and personality she displays as she is converted from what is basically a high school girl into some sort of demon with an amorphous body is worse than that scene in Dumb and Dumber of the most annoying sound in the world. And the retarded cherry on top of this garbage writing is that she has the hots for her new demon "mother?" If you are going to include that kind of thing, I want a warning before I buy it!

Not a bad story

The sex scenes are ridiculous and over the top and completely unnecessary.
The protagonist was overpowered and his challenges were not challenging, where were the moral conundrums?
Finally, the use of "they" rather than he or she as a pronoun is beyond annoying. Use proper grammar.

I expected much more from this author.

The protagonist is not a complete and integrated adult, he is completely lacking in any sort of believable character, motivation or morality. He is an empty white knight. his counterpart is a shivering and useless bundle of nerves, allegedly orphaned as a young child and raised by her grandmother and the streets. Not even modern and sheltered twelve year olds have that kind of innocence.

Horrible AND atrocious characters.

This soy story was a complete waste of time.

The protagonist is weak, the women have their sh¡t together and are strong and empowered. The story was written by a feminist and you can tells. I have no doubt that the author was raised by a single mom. Pure magical thinking when it comes to interacting with people in the real world.

God dammit Donut! I need to come up with fifteen words here. It is not quite the level of stupid hilarity as Robert Bevan's Critical Failure series but it is definitely worth your time. I am looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.
