Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Humourous & Heartwarming
Revisado: 01-21-20
This is one of my favorite autobiographies thus far. Trevor Noah is a wonderful story teller. His stories of his family life and growing up were so relatable on so many levels. I also learned about the culture of South Africa and have a deeper appreciation for it.

Historia
In her hit Netflix comedy special Baby Cobra, an eight-month pregnant Ali Wong resonated so strongly that she even became a popular Halloween costume. Wong told the world her remarkably unfiltered thoughts on marriage, sex, Asian culture, working women, and why you never see new mom comics on stage but you sure see plenty of new dads.

Ali Wong's book was funny filthy, and very relatable and heartwarming. I enjoy her stand-up comedy and I also enjoyed this book.

Slow Beginning
Revisado: 01-08-20
The story was slow to pick up but it was understandable due to the groundwork a s tone that needed to be set. This was a good listen, overall.
