Emotional triumph

This authors factual stories mixed with her liberty to explore the emotional state of her family is portrayed with grace and grit. The realization that this family was 20 of 300 survivors from their hometown is miraculous. I did not want to put this down.

Wonderful twist and views into different minds.

I strongly recommend this book to any true crime enthusiast. The look into a sadistic killers mind was interesting and chilling. The works of Wrens mind is fun and intriguing. The twists in the book are exciting and stomach wrenching. My only criticism, if you want to call it that, is please don’t leave us waiting to long for a follow up!

I listen to a lot of podcasts because of my job, 8 hours a day/4 days a week. This one is my absolute favorite! Their insight from their experiences really helps the listener understand more of the crime analysis and the prosecution or sometimes lack of. They’re voices are easy to follow and pleasant to hear. My only criticism would be there is only one episode a week.
